Primary education is a fundamental right for children, recognized globally and enshrined in India’s Constitution (Article21-A) through the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, making free and compulsory elementary education for 6-14 years age group. To ensure this right the Government have taken various measures. Samagra Shiksha is India,s integrated school education scheme (pre-school to class12) focused on quality and equity, aiming to enhance learning, bridge gender/social gaps, promote inclusivity (especially for CwSN), support NEP2020 and supporting RTE Act implementing for universal, holistic education.
School Dropout is a significant issue of Assam in Primary, Upper primary and secondary level. Samagra Shiksha play a vital role in reducing dropouts by providing integrated support from Pre-Primary to senior secondary, focusing on identifying and tracking out of school children, offering Special training & alternative education (like open schooling for older kids), providing financial aid (uniforms, school bag, teaching learning materials).
Our services are focused on creating lasting change through community development, healthcare access, educational support, and emergency relief.
These students have successfully undergone special training programs are now integrated into regular classrooms.
These learners come from migrant backgrounds and receive targeted training to bridge learning gaps.
These children have discontinued formal education and are currently outside structured support programs.
